Documentary Film Interns (Production Assistant / Marketing / Graphic Design):
Indy filmmaker is recruiting for post-production. We still have a few interviews/mini-projects to shoot, so duties can also include field production work, ie: shooting, lighting, researching— if interested.
This is a great opportunity for hands-on experience on a high-profile Indy film project from the ground up. The ideal candidate is highly organized, result-oriented, able to multitask, and interested in investigative reporting/long-form journalism, a self-started, and problem solver. Further interest in the art, craft, and business of documentary screenwriting & independent filmmaking is preferred.
**MacBook Pro notebook is required**
The candidate must be a creative writer, problem-solver, self-starter, and possess solid new media skills. Strong Spanish-language skills, Final Cut Pro, and Photoshop savvy are preferred.
Workflow duties include: Ingesting, logging, capturing, and organizing media, as well as researching, editorial development, assisting with storyboarding, assembling press packets, and building the project’s online presence. Interns may also research contact information for agencies and/or festival producers of international film venues. Mini video cams and microphones are available for interns to produce multimedia content for website, MasaRevolution.com.
**Flexible Hours. Internship is unpaid.
